Day wise travel itinerary

Welcome to Amman, Jordan - The Holy Land!!! On arrival proceed to immigration formalities. Later, meet & greet by our local representative / Tour manager. Later, sit back in the comfort of your coach, as we proceed for City tour of Amman - the capital city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Start with the downtown area & enjoy the old part of Amman. Embark a panoramic city tour of the capital city of Jordan, starts from the city center heading to the old Gold Souq, passing by most popular Arabic sweets in Jordan and you can try famous ( Konafa / soft white cheese topped with pastry ). Then proceed to the old bazaars & get the chance to buy some Souvenirs with cheap prices. Continue to the Rainbow Street where you will find too many coffee shops & restaurants nearby & available. Finally, pass through Abdoun which presenting the newest part of Amman combined with the best modern style. Later, check into Hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or can enjoy hotel facilities. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast at Hotel, today we proceed to visit Umm Qais - home to the ruins of ancient Rome’s Decapolis cities. First, venture northward through Jordan’s green landscapes to the village of Umm Qais, overlooking the ruins of another Roman Decapolis city known as “Gadara”. Soak up the views from here over the Sea of Galilee and Golan Heights to explore the Greco-Roman ruins, including the amphitheater, crumbled mausoleum, basilica terrace, as well as other theaters and treasures. Then, visit the town’s museum to admire some of the precious artifacts recovered from the site, including mosaics and marble statues. Next, drive to Pella, the remains of a Hellenistic city, and earlier and later settlements. First mentioned as ‘Pihilum’ or ‘Pehel’ by the Egyptians in the 19th century B.C. Pella prospered when the Romans arrived, building temples, theaters, and baths. See the antiquities, some dating back more than 8,000 years. You can see the remains of a Chalcolthic settlement the 4th millennium BC, Byzantine churches and houses and a small medieval mosque. Then return back to Amman. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After An American Breakfast at Hotel, today we Proceeding to northern Jordan to visit one of the most important ecological and historical sites in the Middle East; Ajloun. Ajloun Castle (Qal’at Ar-Rabad) is a fine example of Islamic architecture as it was built by Saladin’s general in 1184 AD to control the iron mines of Ajloun, and to counter the progress of the Crusaders by dominating the three main routes leading to the Jordan valley and protecting the communication routes between Jordan and Syria. We head to visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, including the paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast, check out from Hotel. Today we proceed to the Eastern Desert to visit Al Kharraneh Castle, Amra Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and Al Azraq Castle where Lawrence of Arabia resided and wrote part of his book “Seven Pillars of Wisdom”. Proceed to the Dead Sea. On Arrival, check into hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or can enjoy hotel facilities. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast at Hotel, Day is free at Dead Sea. The lowest point on earth deep in the Jordan Valley and 55 km southeast of Amman, is the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the whole world. It is the lowest body of water on earth, the lowest point on earth, and the world's richest source of natural salts, hiding wonderful treasures that accumulated throughout thousands of years. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast, check out from Hotel. Today we depart for Petra via visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics and visit of St. George’s church. Later visit Mt. Nebo (site only as the church is closed down for renovation) a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. Proceed to visit Little Petra best known as Al Beidha (the White One) due to the pale rock colors. Little Petra, also known as Siq al-Barid (literally ""the cold canyon"") is an archaeological site located north of Petra and the town of Wadi Musa in, it is a Nabataean site, with buildings carved into the walls of the sandstone canyons. As its name suggests, it is much smaller, consisting of three wider open areas connected by a 450-metre (1,480 ft) canyon. It is part of the Petra Archeological Park, though accessed separately. Later, check into Hotel. Overnight, stay in at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast, Check out from Hotel. Today we are going to Wadi Rum. En route we visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. We head further down in southern Jordan to visit other significant sites including Wadi Rum. This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Explore Wadi Rum on a 1.30 hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Upon arrival check into Hotel. Overnight, stay at hotel.

After an American Breakfast, Check out from Hotel. Today we are going to Amman. On Arrival in Amman proceed to visit – the city of seven hills. Marvel at the spectacular architecture of ancient times. Enjoy the cultural experience of the city of seven hills – see the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel and the Amphitheatre. Later, check into Hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or can enjoy hotel facilities. Overnight, stay at Hotel.
